History of the V126

The V126 Pullman represented the pinnacle of Mercedes-Benz executive transportation, extending the legendary S-Class into an ultra-exclusive limousine category.

Development began in 1973 as Mercedes-Benz recognized demand for an even more prestigious limousine variant alongside the standard W126 S-Class.

The Pullman debuted in 1975 as a hand-built, extended-wheelbase masterpiece featuring exclusive interior appointments and reinforced chassis engineering.

Production ended in 1991 as the V140 generation succeeded it, concluding 16 years of bespoke limousine manufacturing.
